In America there are thousands of Chevron, Shell, Exxon, and Valero gas stations. Today’s filling stations are far different from those of the past. In the past, all they offered was gasoline and, in some cases, a full service pump where we could pay extra for a serviceman to top off our car’s fluids. But today, the average filling station offers much more. We can stop in a filling station to get headache medicine, snacks, take showers, buy TV’s, and get an oil change or tune up service. Many of them have restaurants like McDonald’s, KFC, Popeye’s, and Wendy’s. It seems that we can get all we need at a filling station. Filling stations are even located in our neighborhood so that we do not have to travel far to the get what we need.
If we look in the book of Acts, Paul teaches the same concept with regards to churches. Individuals would arrive at a church looking for one item and would leave with all their needs met. The churches of Paul’s day were located in a near proximity to where they lived so that families did not have to travel great distances to find them. Today we call this concept church planting.
This is the vision of Amazing Grace Bible Church. We will eventually plant five churches in Texas. (Note: 5 is the number of Grace.) Our purpose is never to become a mega church with a mass of members gathered in one place, we prefer to be a church that can effectively reach and minister to lost souls, mature saints, and impact communities by being a change agent for a lost and dying world. Each place of worship will be called a Grace Station. Each Grace Station will be where one who is lost and is a goat will find hands to disciple them. With the tools of the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, and the service of disciples we will help transform each person’s life, so that they become a sheep (child of God), and grow in the light of Christ. We plan to reach the world… one person, one family, and one community at a time, being One Church, Five Stations. We will “Reach the World, Teaching the Word.” |

| History of Amazing Grace Bible Church |
• On August 24, 2003, Amazing Grace Bible Church conducted its first public service at the Sheraton of Brook Hollow in Dallas, TX under the spiritual guidance of Pastor D.B Valentine with four members.
• In February 2004, a Wednesday night service was established within our ministry.
• In March 2004 we relocated to Hotel Mockingbird to accommodate our Youth Church Service, directed by Sis. S. Powell, Bro. m. Burden, and Bro. Banks.
• In June on 2004, Sis. M. Valentine began and established the A.G.B.C. choir.
• In July of 2005, we moved and held services at the Homewood Suites on Inwood and Stemmons freeway.
• In August of 2005, under the leadership and guidance of Sis. T.Harris, the A.G.B.C. praise team was introduced.
• In January of 2006, God blessed us to move in our first stable location, 2550 Becklymeade Ave, Dallas, TX.
• In January of 2007, God moved in an “Amazing” way and lead us to our current location 7221 American Way, Dallas, TX 75237.
• On June 3rd 2007, A.G.B.C re-launched as a church committed to “Reaching the World, Teaching the Word.”
